Early Life
Starlet Dugard was raised in a background that many of us would never even consider. Before her rescue, details about her childhood were kind of off limits probably due to her mother Jaycee’s kidnapping and confinement.
Starlet was first raised in an unknown compound in Antioch, California and was kept in the dark about the outside world and her family’s circumstances. Setting this aside, Starlet’s mother Jaycee was also a lovable woman who did all she could to care for her child in the worst circumstances.
During these years, her family members were her mother and a younger sister born in 1994 with whom Starlet has a primarily affectionate relationship. This particular unit made their main strength by providing the family with the consolation needed in that terrible situation.
Starlet Dugard mother was her education interrupted worked as the teacher of her daughters, teaching them whatever she could, with whatever means she could lay her hands on. This threw down some form of education upon which she would later build up and adapt to the societies of the world.
Starlet and her sister were exposed to a world they had never been in after she was found and rescued from her mother Jaycee.
Career
Since, Starlet has not had a conventional childhood or education and the privacy her family deservedly has been successful in maintaining, there is very little information available on the matters of her career or professional life.
But it would also be interesting to know that Starlet’s ‘career’ during her teenage, was one of repairing, adjusting and even learning how to survive in a world that was completely new to her. Starlet and her sister liberated from captivity, did not have an option, but to learn how to live a regular life.
These were things such as, being able to regain lost education, social issues, and the mental effects of such an upbringing. In various ways, it would be possible to argue that it is during these years of change that Starlet had concentrated most of her career development.
