Jamie Burrow is Joe’s older brother. They grew up in Lowa but traveled a lot because of their father’s coaching job. While Jamie and his brother Dan were born outside of Lowa, they spent much of their time in the state, as their father was on the coaching staff at Lowa State University.
Jamie is the oldest one in the family of three boys. When his younger brother Joe was born, Jamie was a senior in high school, while his brother was a freshman. Jamie talked of the huge age gap, and he said that it was as if they were Joe’s uncles rather than brothers.
Jamie took care of his younger brother when he was out of school. The celebrity brother has indicated that he never paid enough attention to his younger brother. He would put on Joe’s favorite show to take a nap, only to discover that Joe crawled up the stairs.
Jamie’s background is deep in football. Besides his father coaching football until 2019, many of his other relatives have also pursued football at a professional level.
Career
Jamie loved playing football from a young age. Having grown up seeing his father coach football, it was easy for him to pursue a similar career. Jamie played football in college. He was a linebacker at the University of Nebraska from 1997 to 2001. He earned second-team All-Big 12 honors in his senior year. His brother also played football for the Nebraska University from 2000 to 2004.
Besides his football career, Jamie and his brother Dan have worked in medical sales. Jamie is also an investor in Omaha, Nebraska restaurant Early Bird.
Jamie’s Family Life
Jamie Burrow is a proud family person. He is married and is a father to two sons. Jamie lives in Omaha, with his wife Codie. The couple welcomed their son James and later her daughter Bowen.
Jamie is also stepfather to Codie’s son from a previous relationship. He has lived in Omaha, where he also runs an organization, delivering hope, to support families experiencing infertility. Jamie’s brother Dan is also a family man. Dan met his wife in 2018, and he proposed to her in 2019.
Jamie’s Relationship with Joe
Jamie is a caring brother who has maintained a close bond with all his brothers. Despite the huge age gap between Jamie and Joe, he has always been close to him. In all of Joe’s games, Jamie attended alongside his family.
